BLUESKY Builder Gel is Exactly What All Nail Art Lovers Need

If you’re anything like me, your nail art is notoriously short-lived. Maybe you get a couple of days of wear out of those fun flowers or geometric designs, but by the time you’re back in the office, they’ve already chipped. It’s enough to make you want to swear off nail art altogether.

But before you give up on cute manis for good, there are a few things you can do to extend the life of your manicure — starting with investing in BLUESKY builder gel, which is exactly what all nail art lovers need.

BLUESKY Builder gel (also known as a hard gel) is clear and works essentially like an extension to your natural nail. The gel comes in a pot or tube and can be applied with a brush or sculpted with a tool called a cuticle pusher.

As its name suggests, it’s meant to build up your free edge and add strength to your nails. The end result is a longer manicure that will last longer than a traditional polish manicure and isn’t prone to chipping as soft gel manicures can be.

“If I’m doing more elaborate nail art on someone who doesn’t have long nails, I prefer using builder gel because it gives me more space to work with,” said a professional nail artist.

Builder gel remains one of the most popular nail treatments at salons, but it’s also super easy to do at home.

Just buff your nails, apply the BLUESKY base coat, let it cure under UV/LED lamp, and then swipe on a single coat of BLUESKY builder gel with a brush applicator. Once finished, use an LED lamp to cure each hand for two minutes (or three minutes if using UV light).

If you want to try some nail art on top of your cured nails, use a thin brush and paint more builder gel over your design before curing again. That’s all!

With a little patience and more practice, you will become a pro in no time.
